My name is Abhishek, and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. From a young age, I have seen, heard and experienced some of the challenges around speaking up about our mental health. Speaking transparently about what bothers us can be uncomfortable and even unfamiliar. We can feel that something feels off, that it even feels painful. Yet, we may not know why we feel that way, where it came from, or what to do about it. We only know we do not want to feel what we feel right now.

I fully understand and empathize with how confusing and frustrating that can be. My goal is to introduce a space where you can share those uncomfortable feelings transparently while also helping you gain a deeper understanding of why that feeling is present in your life. I take pride in working with those on a journey of healing, growth and clarity.

I want to work with you in a space where we can learn more about what is getting in the way of who you want to be. I want to work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals and wishes in your healing journey, at a pace that you are comfortable with.

I use various interventions when working with clients who have experienced trauma, such as EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic and attachment-based modalities. I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, challenges managing conflict, setting boundaries, difficulties managing or expressing their emotions, difficulties communicating effectively, and healing from past negative experiences.

Together, we’ll untangle it. Welcoming new clients.
